How we select teams

Grade Level coaches will have control of the rosters.  A coach may choose to pick 8-11 players and run a team or they may choose to have an open tryout.  If we have more than 10, the tryout will be competitive and coaches will select the members they feel will best suit the needs of the team. Those who will attend BHS in the future will have an advantage but will not guarantee a spot on the team. 

We will try to communicate the path early in September.  We believe all should have a chance to play.  Please let us know if you are interested in coaching or playing well before October to make sure we are operating with as much information as possible.  If enough interest exists, it is possible to have more than one team at a grade level.
